About the Image(s)

Here is a calligrapher finishing her work. She works with a real calligraphy pen with its own special nib and real ink (the kind that stains your clothes!). She is my daughter, and she actually has her own business doing this! I asked her to pose for me with the special card for Mother's Day. The card is on my refrigerator door now. She was writing these cards for attendees at a special event at Powell Gardens (the botanical garden for Kansas City). I posed her hand on my coffee table next to window light in my livingroom.
