About the Image(s)
The tunnel view of Yosemite National Park is famous for iced sickles in the winter. They can be very dangerous to stand near them. I have also added with wide view on the tunnel exit into the Valley View.
Sadly, I did not bring with me my macro lens on this trip to Yosemite.
I live just a 2-hour drive from there, so I hope to share more later in the year.
Have a very happy New Year in photography everyone.

Lori - for me, this is the best visualization of the hanging icicles. They are hard to get the light right on, and I think you captured the light correctly to bring out all the blue, and still keep them translucent. Allowing just enough of the rock texture behind them was perfect for giving them some earthly reference. And I find the round vignette very nice.   Posted: 01/04/2025 18:54:46

I agree with Melissa. I love the blue color. It looks like you are right next to them. Nice job!   Posted: 01/08/2025 20:32:43

How lucky are you to live so close to Yosemite! I really like your original image and being able to cut a small portion from it to get "Iced Teeth" from it is a double win. The lighting is perfect on the icicles. Very nicely done.   Posted: 01/12/2025 19:00:26
