About the Image(s)

Today was a very difficult day for me. There is a clich?© that states, dogs are man’s best friend. Well, today I lost my best friend of fifteen years. Lily has been my companion and one of my favorite subjects those fifteen years. You have seen her before. I made this image while she was playing with one of our neighbor’s dogs in our front yard. Tommy, the older dog, exhibited extreme tolerance while Lily playfully climbed all over him, at times biting and pulling on his ears and nose.
Exposure information: 70-200mm Zoom mounted on my Nikon D200. Focal length was 130mm, ISO 125, exposed f/5 for 1/100 sec. Final image was refined with some adjustments in Lightroom.

Puppy love. Oh how we love our fur babies. The sweetness of the Lab allowing the puppy to play with her. We are looking at the end of life with my lab mix who we have had to 15 years. I will always remember these last 15 year of joy with my baby Max.   Posted: 12/16/2024 22:11:05
