About the Image(s)
I placed the lens ball on the top of a fence post near our home. I had a clear view of the sunset. Just as I started to photograph a slight rain shower came in. The sparkles your see on the lens ball are the rain drop hitting it. I really liked the strobe affect it gave off on the glass and the other worldly effect of the upside-down clouds.

Lovely sunset! I like that you left the fence showing to give the lens ball a base. Not sure about the rain drops though. I think they are a bit distracting from an otherwise serene image.   Posted: 11/04/2024 12:32:56

Thank you Karen for your suggestion on the rain drops. Sometimes we forget what the subject should be. You are spot on.   Posted: 11/20/2024 18:04:07

Hi Lori,
I find this to be a clever and creative image that creates a pleasing, altered reality for me. I agree observing the sunset refracted by the lens ball, creating the upside-down effect, is wonderful. I also found the sparkles from the raindrops interesting.

Hi Charissa: Thank you for your comments. I love images with the lens ball. I don't use it enough because it makes my camera bag so much more heavy.   Posted: 11/20/2024 18:05:32

WOW what an image! Lori, this is amazingly creative. I love it. Something out of science fiction. The colors in the sunset were perfect. The placing the ball on the fence post was a great idea. Well done!   Posted: 11/20/2024 06:12:11
