About the Image(s)
I took this photo while I was in the ranks with Legacy delegates. We noticed this young whipper snapper marching in front of us and thought he looked good. I daresay he will join the pipe band 8 or 10 years from now. Fortunately, I had my camera on me at the time.
This was taken in Sydney, approaching the main street (Elizabeth Street) on Anzac Day (May 25), 2023.

I think image tells great story and I would not change the composition one bit. I like how everyone is looking at the kid and the kid is the brightness part of the image. Only seeing the back of the kid is great, I think his face would be a distraction.   Posted: 05/04/2023 12:14:28
Nice action. I like the expressions on everyone's faces as they look at the little boy. I also like the composition. I do wish the man in the blue suit wasn't there, but know how hard it is to get a photo like this without something getting into the frame that you wish wasn't there.   Posted: 05/09/2023 09:59:01
That is true. I snapped some quick photos while I could, because my Legacy colleagues were behind the pipe band at the time. It was a photo opportunity (Paul Simon would be proud, wink).   Posted: 05/24/2023 23:22:25
You took the words right out of my mouth. (Smiling)   Posted: 05/09/2023 11:56:38
I like this version a lot!   Posted: 05/10/2023 06:47:12
Thank you Jeff. It DOES look much better when cropped, and shows the faces of the men watching the youngster. Thumbs up from me.   Posted: 05/24/2023 08:19:57
I love the photo!! Amazing shot! I think the black and white shows the faces of those watching the little one. What a great memory. Don't you wish you could send them a copy!! Bravo Susan.   Posted: 05/24/2023 07:20:28
Yes indeed, Marianne. There's a thought. I think I'll do just that. Thank you.   Posted: 05/24/2023 07:56:10
