About the Image(s)
This is a picture of my cat, Lilly. I think she’s rather photogenic and she was cooperating on this particular day. She was laying in one of her beds when I got this picture.
Taken with Nikon 850
70-200 mm lens at 200mm
ISO 400
F2.8
1/125s
I cropped the picture and adjusted the highlights and shadows as I tried to lighten her face. I also used sharpening and structure in Snapseed. Last, I added a complementary frame.

She looks well comfortable!!
I like the way that her bed gives the image a natural frame around her head. Lovely and sharp. The outside frame sets the image off well.   Posted: 09/01/2023 10:33:26

A big change from the original. It lets us see Lily a lot better and brightening her adds a lot - especially the eyes. The frame works well to finish it off.   Posted: 09/01/2023 13:01:20
Such a sharp image. Love the crop and the border. You have made something extraordinary out of something somewhat ordinary. Well done!   Posted: 09/02/2023 09:15:29
Beautiful eyes, and lovely colors. I like the creative framing. You might even bring out more brightness on the left of the cat and eye, without losing the contrast.   Posted: 09/10/2023 08:43:52
