About the Image(s)

Taken with Red Hydrogen One. Using gimp I created two duplicate layers. The first I desaturated, and applied a drastic curve. For the second I only applied the same drastic curve, then boosted the color saturation. Next, I combined the layers using 'value' and 'hue' layer modes. I flattened the layers, and did some more color and contrast adjustments.
In SPM I adjusted the window, then used the color adjustments to reduce gama to about 150. For the anaglyphs I brightened the image significantly, and then gave each a soft 's' curve to equalize the tones a bit.

Wow! such wild colors. When I look at the regular color image right under the fly I see the flower back behind, but when I look at the colorized one that part is hard to see. I don't know why. Nice affect.   Posted: 09/19/2023 21:59:12

Beautiful colors. I liked the original LR too. The image has nice depth. There is some distraction at top left corner in the main image. Sharpness of the bee head is lost in anaglyph. Nice creative work.   Posted: 09/21/2023 10:41:34

Very mush a fun image but I feel that for all of your efforts the final result is not an improvement on the original in this instance   Posted: 09/30/2023 14:38:41
