Hi Arabelle, I just stopped by to congratulate you on being chosen for this months Members Showcase. Love your shot. I have a thing for loons but have not been able to get anything as beautiful as you did. Nicely done.

Thank you Marge! It was a very special day for us on Squam Lake with the head of the Loon preservation society. Where do you see your loons??   Posted: 03/17/2023 12:05:51

I was in Upper Peninsular Michigan the last time. But the only one in the lake was far away and no babies in sight. Another shot from Wisconsin, also nothing to show. I heard they are down here in Florida but have not been able to find them.

That is absolutely stunning, Arabella. Looks like you can reach out and touch it. I can't think of a thing to improve it.   Posted: 03/19/2023 14:44:55

Gorgeous. I fell in love with this colorful water flower when I visited the Biltmore in Asheville, NC a few years ago. While I took many images, none can touch the beauty of your version from the drops of water on the petals to the reflection in the water. Just perfect!   Posted: 03/24/2023 15:38:43

Sometimes you just get lucky! I really love my canon r5 mirrorless as it eliminates one whole layer of frustration. What you see is what you get. And with the new toys in lightroom classic it is ever more fun, isn't it? The whole time we were in HI it rained so the water drops were ever-present. can someone explain to me about why folks want to know about full frame and other size sensors? I think this is full frame but have no idea why that makes it a status symbol.   Posted: 03/24/2023 16:11:59
