About the Image(s)
Photo was taken with my iPhone 13 pro. Processed to get contrasts to create a mood in a black and white image for a class.
The hard part for me was to get the pollen in focus in the flower… have some linear pattern… and achieve a good balance between light and dark and the gritty effect vs smooth textures. The black and white treatment was thru NIK Silver Effects Pro.

I like what Miriam did too. Gorgeous image. No other suggestions.   Posted: 06/21/2022 15:36:39
This is fabulous! Of course, I love that it's monochrome. That accentuates the lines and curves.   Posted: 06/18/2022 21:19:01

Oooo! You combined 3 of my favorite photo genres - floral, macro, & monochrome. A lovely image, executed well. I think Miriam produced the results I would have suggested quite well.   Posted: 06/19/2022 18:11:55

Wow! I think the compositon is just terrific; the diagonals, curves and the outward pointing black specs, and pistles appear to be floating give this image tremendous strength and movement. At the same time the muted tones give a ephemeral lightness to the image. My personanl feeling is that I would not increase the contrast. I hope you print and frame this one. Try a velvet or soft gloss Epson Exhibition fiber, or Canson prestige, baryta would look really good   Posted: 06/20/2022 13:06:16
