About the Image(s)
The building I have sent has surely been visited by some participating in our group, the Meade Hotel has been there since Bannack City was a popular place for mining and was at one time a very rough town. I have visited and photographed it about 4 times and my early pictures of the inside of this old building will never show the aging with the walls peeling away. Today they repaired this interior and it looks good, but not to a photographer looking for history.
This image was taken on June 19 2010 with my Nikon D200 a five-image HDR with one stop per picture. My exposure in the middle was taken at 1/60th and each image ranged from 1/40th sec to 1/641 sec. The focal length was 26mm. The metadata at that time did not record the lens I was using. My lens opening was f12 with an ISO of 400, using my tripod. I removed the part of an old building that was barely shown so I did some removing and with content-aware and clon tools to hopefully make the scene look natural. Photomatix 7 was used to stack and do what it does best, provide a great HDR. I also used the transform tool to square up the building. I worked to add contrast so it will stand out with the dark clouds in the background.

Good toning, subject matter and composition, perhaps a little dahaze would make it pop a tad more?   Posted: 05/26/2023 01:39:37
