About the Image(s)
Flowers photographed on my light pad and used some fill flash on the top. Pumped up the White tones and did selective color replacement as the Emboss filter generally only works with gray background. Used the emboss at max to bring in some of the original colors. To create a 1 of a kind image. And you all think?

An interesting image - I think it is a unique way of looking at flowers, as embossing is not often used with flowers. For me the gray background is a bit dark . Also would suggest that the stems should reach the bottom border, unless you meant for them to be floating. Nice job of the colour work as well.   Posted: 05/13/2023 19:46:29
Thanks Gunter. Yes, I think the gray can be made lighter, but the lengthening of some steps as to go back to the original lightpad shot. Yes, not many embossed pics of flowers, but I don't get hung up with the past or majorities and just create. Thanks for your ideas.   Posted: 05/13/2023 20:27:01
Nice idea Bob and a fascinating image. A really nice balance without being symmetrical. I really like the way you have used two different textures in the background to help frame the flowers. I wonder if a slightly tighter crop on the top horizontal might increase the impact - but that is only personal not objective.   Posted: 05/16/2023 11:40:21
Thanks Tim. I was concerned about the PSA limitations, as generally don't see panoramas and agree for some cropping on the top and the bottom.   Posted: 05/17/2023 13:36:04
I Love it! The arrangement of the flowers is well done and the color is lovely as is the texture. Your creativity amazes me. I'd love to take a class with you. I still have so much to learn about processing.   Posted: 05/19/2023 15:45:41
Thanks Judy. Thanks for wanting to be a student, but I'm quite short of any time as I try to move and get settled. I know crazy, but true that I might be in this condition through early 2024.   Posted: 05/22/2023 10:23:51
Very nice. Till right now, I had the impression embossing was for B&W photos; I seem to remember a filter called carbonization way back. The colors remind me of cross polarization spectra. I think the overall balance with the flower positions
is just right.
Great use of a light pad!   Posted: 05/19/2023 21:23:41
