About the Image(s)
These areas of light and dark on the floor are cast by our coffee table (you can see my cup) and the morning sun streaming through the window. To create a graphic image, I increased the contrast and desaturated it to remove any residual colour. It was essentially black and white anyway, but I wanted to make it more visually striking.

Great abstract image. The lines and shapes create interest. Love the light and shadows. The strong contrast worked well. I have noticed that the morning sun creates interesting shadows inside and outside.

Robin--I find shadows interesting and minimalist images appeal to me so this image really works for me. The narrative of the coffee cup in the corner of the table is very nice. I'm also glad the floor has lines; they're an important element in my opinion. Posted: 02/13/2025 16:30:52
