About the Image(s)
This tree is in a small, ancient wood a few miles from where I live. Many years of growing in close proximity with other trees has caused its branches to twist and curve. The whole wood is very magical so I have uses some diffusion and soft focus to give it a pictorial effect,
Nikon D70, processed in Affinity Photo 2.

Hi Robin,
This is a very interesting abstract of the oak tree. It has nice curves and texture. Good tonal variation and sharp details throughout the image. It holds my interest. Good find.   Posted: 12/08/2024 16:58:26

For me this has become a study in frenetic lines, almost intimidating (in a good way). The processing seems to have given life, movement to those limbs.   Posted: 12/11/2024 15:38:09

Robin, yes I like this. You convey movement in what is a fairly robust and static object. I like the toning and the texture too.   Posted: 12/15/2024 12:42:40
