About the Image(s)
This was the same rookery as last month's photo and the babies are growing. They are fighting for territory also. I caught these 2 having a squabble - the juvenile white egret finally won and the juvenile great blue heron found another branch.

Amazing shot - I love that their eyes are locked on each other.   Posted: 07/10/2024 00:16:44

This picture was taken at a fortunate moment, as it can be seen that the two young birds are threatening each other.   Posted: 07/10/2024 13:45:19

Good timing! It is worth it having time to observe. Interactions between birds are always very interesting! Great catch!   Posted: 07/10/2024 14:50:35

These are two of my favorite birds and it is a treat to see these juveniles interacting with each other! The crop is perfect, and I love seeing them in the dense leafy trees.
Your exposure and shutter speed captured well the action and lighting of this scene!
