Christ Troupis
About the Image(s)
This photo was taken at about 5:00 pm on April 15 in Rogers, Arkansas. Handheld at 1/4000th, f/6.3, ISO 2000, 600mm. I saw this eastern bluebird just peeking out of the entrance hole of an old birdhouse and waited just under a minute for it to squeeze out the entrance.

Christ, this is a perfect moment to take the photo! I like to see the complete birdhouse and the tree which pictures well the natural environment! Clear eye and sharp wings! Congrats!   Posted: 05/03/2025 23:32:51

Christ, crystal clear sharp bluebird, rustic house and tree. Very nice non distracting background. Have seen Bluebirds open their wings like this many times when the sun or heat is too much for their young. Very nice catch.   Posted: 05/04/2025 16:45:05
The bluebird's outstretched wings forming a beautiful fan made me curious as to its intent! Exceptional textures and soft background accent the lovely bluebird! Well done!!   Posted: 05/06/2025 23:31:48
Christ - perfect moment, crystal clear and sharp, a brightened eye, and a beautiful fan created by the wings, I agree with them all - that said, I don't think you need that much canvas; it's your subject that's interesting and what the viewer wants to see - see my VF   Posted: 05/07/2025 14:04:01
You caught it in the right moment. I agree with the changes of Butch's cropped version. I suggest removing this dry leaf, and leaving a bit more space before the bird.   Posted: 05/11/2025 09:24:46
