very interesting interaction. Like the low angle. Looks like the crow is a little behind the focal plane and not quite in sharp focus.   Posted: 03/05/2025 11:43:56
Thank you Roy, you are right, the crow is behind the focal plane. I tried to (with Topaz Sharpen AI) selectively sharpen the crow. Thus the photo ended up being better.   Posted: 03/16/2025 05:09:56
What a great juxtaposition between the large and small; and I don't think you could have chosen a better perspective, nice job. In my VF I opened up the shadows to lighten the hooded crow and also tweaked the eye the bring out a bit a white to make its eye more apparent. I also cropped in especially the top and bottom of the frame to eliminate some of blurred foreground grass and some of the bright sky, which I also darkened. Lastly, I used the remove tool to get rid of that white spot in the lower center of the frame. While that may sound like a lot - this is really an excellent image where I thought a bit of tweaking might help.   Posted: 03/05/2025 15:53:28
Thank you very much Butch for your kind advice, I tried the modifications based on your tips. The sky in your version begun to purple. The original sky was grey, I modified its temp in Lightroom . My Eizo monitor is recalibrated after every 200 hours.

I haven't figured out how to play with the images yet. Just enjoying what I am seeing. Nice shot.   Posted: 03/09/2025 14:20:10

Wow the juxtaposition makes the White Tailed Eagle look enormous! Very Cool! I like the soft foreground. Would be nice to see the crow's feet but such a minor detail. Great shot!!   Posted: 03/10/2025 16:41:28
Thank you Kathleen! This is a male eagle, the female is bigger.   Posted: 03/16/2025 05:25:30
"May I have a bit?" "No!" Conversation seems to be clear. Big picture, Ernoe!   Posted: 03/26/2025 11:38:36
The eagle is so sharp - well captured. This tells a great story.   Posted: 03/27/2025 15:33:23
