About the Image(s)

At the place where I have taken the osprey this is a very seldom catch. The pond is not very great or deep. Almost no bigger fish. So bring the camera up and make the best out oft he sudden moment … Canon R5, Aperture 8, shutter speed 1/2500, ISO 2000, Canon 400mm 2.8 plus 2x Entender.

Great photo, In focus and nice crop. This could be the "before" photo of mine this month!   Posted: 11/10/2024 20:45:34

Thanks, Roy! Yes, indeed, may be the scene before. But in this pond he would not be content with moderlieschen!   Posted: 11/11/2024 08:53:40

You definitely took advantage of what presented itself in the moment ~ your Osprey looks elegant! I especially like diagonals, and the golden light on the top edge of the wings complements the Osprey's amber eyes. Lovely shot!   Posted: 11/12/2024 23:08:36

Good photo in good light. I like the diagonal position of the Osprey.   Posted: 11/16/2024 16:41:54

An excellent image technically and compositionally - the diagonal composition adds needed energy to the image, but it still lacks drama such as a prey in the frame or interaction with its environment, or a more dramatic sky. That said, it's still an excellent capture and a great job in post   Posted: 11/27/2024 04:01:47
