About the Image(s)

If you were to take exit 131 on I-90 in South Dakota, and turn north, and do this at 0620 in late May…this is what you see! Twenty minutes later…completely different view

I love the layers of the image. Great job. The green of the image actually helps with a resting place for your eyes.   Posted: 07/16/2024 00:53:31

Paul, this is another of your pictures that makes me want to go somewhere. The crisp differentiation between the horizontal layers is incredible. I have never seen rock formations like this. The slashes of dark green add to the drama of the image. What a great capture.   Posted: 07/16/2024 04:20:52

Paul, I really like the layers and depth to this image. Curious what focal length you used here, it feels like you used it on the longer range of your lens? Nice shot!

I too like the green here, but it feels a bit too vibrant to my eye, but just my preference.   Posted: 07/23/2024 02:23:34

I really like how you have used the morning light to create, to my eye, a texture with the lighted faces looking to the left and the shadows on their right side. I also think you have done a great job in showing the layers of colors in this scene. For my eye the lighting is on the soft side which I think is a positive for this image (however I agree with Dawn and I think the green could be a little less saturated). I see nice structure and depth to this image which gives me a sense of size and grandeur of the scene. Nice job.   Posted: 07/23/2024 14:07:30
