About the Image(s)
My wife and I were driving across Oregon to visit our daughter in Idaho on the Central Oregon Highway. This is what a 140 mile continuous stretch of the highway looks like. I thought I would try to capture a sense of the road so I pulled off to take a shot (and I liked the cloud formation off in the distance.).
I did a lot of haze removal and played with the contrast so I could bring out the clouds. I increased the saturation a bit to bring out some more color in what otherwise is a dull landscape.
I took the shot with my Canon R; Canon EF 75-300mm lens at 75mm; aperture f/11; shutter speed 1/800 sec (it was windy); ISO 100.
NOTE: I couldn't resist playing with my new toy - my infrared modified Canon RP camera. Original 2 is the shot I took with the IR camera. I liked what I got when, in post processing, I swapped the red and blue color channels. I'm interested in your opinions.
