About the Image(s)
Another fall shot in Colorado. 240mm on my Nikkor Z 100-400mm lens. 1/25th of a second at f/11, ISO 500 on a tripod.
I increased the exposure almost a full stop, decreased highlights and blacks and opened up the shadows a bit. I also increased vibrance a tiny bit and decreased saturation by the same amount. I then went to the calibration tool and increased red saturation and decreased green and blue a small amount. I also made some minor changes to the HSL in the color mixer. Finally, I ran the Lightroom Denoise given I shot it at 500. My final edit was to crop it to a 4x5 as wanted to remove the left side of the frame.

Pretty shot, but what was to the left that you cropped out? There doesn't seem to be a focal point for the shot, the viewer's eyes just wander all over the photo. It almost seems as though you cropped it too much. Just my opinion though.   Posted: 11/04/2025 03:42:32

Charming, soft, tranquil. Enjoyed looking at it for some time.   Posted: 11/06/2025 04:25:09
