About the Image(s)

This is one of the shots from my driftwood collection that I was told to reject from my portfolio, but I still like it a lot. I like the combination of the bleached wood of the driftwood set against the sand and the blowing Beach Grass. The only thing I did in post processing was to slightly increase to contrast to make the piece of driftwood stand out more.

When I took this shot I was only going out with my 50mm lens so I would have to concentrate on composition in the field and with that said I did no cropping at all for this image. I was using my Canon R; 50mm prime lens; aperture f/13; shutter speed 1/250 (it was a windy day) and ISO 100.
