I like the vastness of this image. It could almost be split into three different images, The foreground shows wonderful fields of yellow. The middle can stand on its own with the farmhouse and because it is a capsule of farm life. Great layers. I have to say I think the sheep for me was a distraction because I had to study them to see if they were sheep or birds.   Posted: 03/10/2025 17:35:25

This reminds me of Palouse Washington area! I like the layers of canola fields with the green rolling hills. Your composition with the lines from left and right, leading to the trees and house are great. The soft colors in the sky are lovely as well. Nice shot!   Posted: 03/17/2025 17:40:44
There are a number of things to like about this photo, but what strikes me most is your very effective use of empty space. Your use of a few simple elements (the house, the trees and the flock in the background) with the expanse of space convey to my mind the vastness of the area. I like it. I think you have good balance between the fields and the sky and I agree with Dawn regarding the effectiveness of the layers with canola fields and the roll hills. I also find the lines created by the hills very positive.   Posted: 03/21/2025 19:10:15
