About the Image(s)

Camera: Canon R7 f8 1/100 ISO 200 Lens Canon RF 24mm-240mm 35mm

I was able to get out and see the fall colors with the local camera club. It was a crisp fall day in Southern California. Ok it was about 68. I just thought the empty boardwalk with leaves on it just gave me a sense of come walk or roll down this path.
For post processing I did everything in ACR
I started for my color profile a yellow Chroma preset the contrast and shadows were upped. The highlights, whites and blacks were brought down. I did a little dehazing. I then masked the walkway and dehazed a little more and added some clarity and texture. For the leaves I did point color for both some of the greens and yellows.
I ran it through Topaz AI

Nice job on the color processing Darcy. I like what you did with it. I think I'd try to lighten the path up a bit as well to move the eye through the frame.

I like how you framed this, it's well balanced on each side.   Posted: 02/16/2025 02:09:27

Thank you lately I've been in a funk with my photography. It feels like I lost my eye for composition. I needed this feedback   Posted: 02/16/2025 07:52:50

We all get that sometimes! Hang in there and just continue to go out and shoot! Or review some older images to get inspiration or to think about how you might do it differently! That helps me when I'm in a shooting funk.   Posted: 02/16/2025 15:29:44
