About the Image(s)
The image was taken in Magoebaskloof, South Africa, I was standing in the river, shot for a tripod. just above water level. It was shot with a Nikon z8 and Nikon 16-35 lens, ISO100, 2s, F11, EV -2/3.
I was standing in a stream with tripod and raincoat. It was a planned trip specifically to photograph the streams and waterfalls in the fog. We unfortunately did not get the fog.

Welcome Francois! I just read your bio and WOW, thrilled to have you in Group 93 and looking forward to your comments!
I find the light on the left rock with moss on it quite nice. I'm guessing that it didn't right he right rock naturally, but wonder if you might be able to lighten it a bit to frame the falls itself just to add a bit more depth.
Curious, what was just above the falls/rocks?
Lastly, how cold was the water? Waders on? Or just standing in it?   Posted: 02/19/2025 01:00:05
