I took this on our ferry trip to Alaska in 2022. The mountains in Alaska are amazing. This image just said snap the picture.
Post I straightened the image because it was a little unlevel. In ACR I brought down the highlights and blacks. Brought up the shadows and the whites. I upped the texture, clarity and dehaze. I masked the sky and brought down the highlights and blacks increased the whites.

Great shot Darcy, and one could say a bit lucky as that part of Alaska doesn't often get clear skies like that. I like the composition with the highest peak on the left and then they trail off to the right. I agree with Paul in that you have cleared up the haze nicely. I think your focus is good and the lighting works well. I would like to see just a little bit more detail in the tree line along the edge of the water.   Posted: 11/16/2024 23:23:53

I third the comment, good use of the dehaze! And I also agree with Ed and think more details in the treeline would make a stronger image.   Posted: 11/17/2024 20:19:40
