Date of exposure: 07 ?January ?2020, ??13:54:28 Subject: A GLOSSY IBIS IN FLIGHT CAMERA: Nikon D7200 with Tamron 100-400mm lens. Exposure details: f-stop f/11, Focal Length: 540 mm, exposure time 1/2000 sec, ISO 1100, spot metering, Manual mode. LOCATION: CHILIKA LAKE, more than 230 species of birds live in Mangalajodi, Chilika Lake, Odisha, India. It is also one of the largest wintering grounds in Asia. EDITING: I used PS CS 2023 to edit the frame, by a desktop computer. I used adobe camera raw 16.4 filters to enhance clarity, shadow details, brightness and exposure. I also used Topaz software to reduce digital noise and to sharpen details.

You captured this bird in flight well. The only thing I would add is that you could eliminate a large part of the sky, in that all this negative space does not add to the overall composition. Still, a nice action shot. Posted: 05/11/2025 14:43:24
Sanat, Very nice sharp image showing the beautiful colors of the Ibis. If possible, I would like to see a bit more space on the right side of the image to give the bird space to fly into the frame. Bruce Posted: 05/12/2025 14:40:40
