About the Image(s)
On a recent frosty day, I spent a lot of time photographing leaves caught in the ice on the surface of a pond. The combination of the yellow leaf with the blue color of the ice as well as the icy bubbles caught my eye. I used a Lensbaby Velvet 85 lens with my OM-1, but I wish I’d brought a regular lens that could have made this image sharper.

Debby - interesting shot - I like the contrast between the ice and the pine needels and the ice bubbles are cool.
Since I was not there, was the ice that dark? It appears that the light is coming from the top and was low.
Yes a different lens would have helped, but we all know that there are times that it is not practical. Interesting shot.   Posted: 12/11/2024 19:47:46
