November 2024 - Autumn Sunrise at Dolly Sods, WV

I traveled to the mountains of West Virginia with my camera club in late September. We got to a popular sunrise viewing spot at Dolly Sods Wilderness very early one morning to watch the sun rise. The combination of the thick fog with the sunrise colors was amazing to watch, and I hope that my image captures the beauty I saw that day. OM-1 camera, 12-100mm lens, f7.1, 1/13, ISO 200.

I love the layering of the sky clouds and trees/grass in the foreground. I'm going to WV after Christmas and might try to find that gorgeous view. The colors are stunning. Posted: 11/18/2024 06:20:15
