About the Image(s)
I took this photo in a park near Union Lake in Seattle, WA during my week-long vacation. In the distance, there is a row of houses that is quite remarkable for its unity of colors and arrangement. In the foreground, there is a person windsurfing with a taut sail. The photo was taken in the evening. I thought it was a very peaceful scene that gives us a very relaxing feeling. In terms of technique, I only used Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) to enhance some color highlights, slightly increase the contrast, and crop it for balance. I hope you enjoy this photo. Meta data: 1/320s, f8,ISO 200. Olympus E-M1 Mark iii.

Quang Phan, indeed the scene you captured is peaceful. The viewer can almost feel the breeze and smell the sea. My eye wants to do several different crops to create a set of images. There could be, for example, an image that focuses only on the colorful houses at the shoreline, or another more abstract image that singles out the geometric pattern rendered by the blue roofed condos. In terms of composition, the sailboarder adds a lot but also leads the viewer's eye away from the interesting sights on the shoreline.   Posted: 09/10/2023 17:43:42
Quang Phan, it's a beautiful scene. On first impression It looks like you created your photo layer by layer and, by doing so, pulled together a really cohesive image. The boardsailor pulls the eye into the picture. There's a lot to look at in the background, but it's all good.   Posted: 09/11/2023 15:58:21
