About the Image(s)
Near the town of Cuba New York there is a picture-perfect farm with a lane leading up to
an equally perfect barn. It is impossible to drive by it without snapping a couple of
shots, particularly when the light is lovely. To render the final image, using PS 2026, I
cropped it a bit, corrected the horizontal, adjusted color and saturation, darkened the
lane, and finally, with Topaz Photo, reduced noise. Camera data: Nikon Z7, f/8, 1/125,
54mm, ISO=250.

Hey Charles. Nice image. I like everything you did with this image. I was wondering: your note said you used Topaz to sharpen. I used to use Topaz but switched to On-1 NoNoise AI and I posted my version with only the sharpening applied. It is hard to know if you were looking for a softer image or a real sharp one. As I get older, I like my stuff sharp. Just an alternative take. Your image is really nice. I would have stopped for sure to shoot this.   Posted: 10/05/2026 01:21:15
