About the Image(s)
This photo was shot using a Canon Powershot from a riverboat on a canal in Amsterdam just as the boat slid under the bridge. The shot was rushed, the subjects and the bridge were off center and the sky was washed out.
In post-processing I worked first on the sky to bring out the clouds, then substantially cropped out the left side of the bridge. Lastly I worked on my cyclists and their umbrellas.

Hey Mark. I like the concept of the image. I wish there was an original and maybe some data about the image. I tried to open the image but because of its size it was very pixelated. I was wondering if some cropping and maybe make the image black and white and keep the umbrellas Red. I wish the image was larger. It does say Amsterdam.   Posted: 12/14/2025 03:00:57

Mark,
Try going "old school" on this one. Desaturate everything but the umbrellas - or maybe punch in a little yellow or orange to make it look like an old photo.
Just a thought that would really make those umbrella pop!   Posted: 12/15/2025 02:41:24

Mark, love the umbrellas, and I agree with Brian's suggestion. You might experiment with cropping too   Posted: 12/17/2025 23:38:50
