I couldn’t make it to New York to see the Macy’s fireworks directly, as they were mostly hidden behind the skyscrapers. So instead, I captured these shots from the New Jersey side, near Hoboken Station, across the Hudson River. This picture was taken before the fireworks started. I took @f/8, 30s, with ND16 , ISO100, tripod. Sharpen. Denoise, Increase contrast/shadow/Vibrance. Removed the fence in front.
(Note when I resized the image, pixels were broken!)

What you have done to sharpen the image and balance the highlights has made this photograph so lovely. I like the way you positioned the blue tower off-center. However, somehow in processing lines appeared in the sky and in the reflection. I've had this happen using Topaz sharpening. Posted: 07/10/2025 14:45:08

This is a "once in a lifetime" photo. I hope you have a wall to hang it on. The only post-processing I would have done would be the railing in front of you; the lines that appeared in the sky and the water detract. Posted: 07/28/2025 20:26:43
