About the Image(s)

Minutes after taking this shot a blizzard blew in from the West. The Grand Canyon is not so grand in
whiteout conditions. But I was lucky to capture the contrast between the cool white snow and the rich
warm colors of the Canyon. I did not do much to render the final image, only cropped it, increased
saturation especially the red-orange tones, monkeyed with brightness and contrast in the sky, then
reduced noise using Topaz. Camera data: Nikon Z7ii, f/8, 1/250, 24mm, ISO=100.
