Looking Seawards from Yankee Harbour, Greenwich Island, South Shetland Islands, Antarctica.
The ship's Zodiacs landed us on Yankee Harbour, where we walked among Penguins, Fur Seals, and other assorted wildlife. Looking back out to sea revealed a classic Antarctic landscape. In processing, I removed the human element and used Topaz denoise and Nik Colour Effect 7 to highlight the gentle details. The soft light was mesmerising.

Brian, how fortunate you are to have visited Antarctica. This is a grand image with great impact. The shades of blue and white are mystical. To suggest scale, if you wish, why not include one of the walkers? Posted: 04/08/2025 18:18:54
