About the Image(s)
Long Branch is a historic family seat in Millwood, Virginia built in the early 19th century.I captured this image to showcase a peaceful field. It was created by merging five separate photos using Photoshop’s Merge tool, allowing PS to handle the blending, balancing, and filling in any gaps. I then used Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) and curves to adjust the contrast, brightness, and shadows. The biggest challenge was reducing the final file size to just 1MB for submission, as the original Photoshop save was 65MB.

That is a wonderful panorama. It captures the vastness of the area; the stitching is done seamlessly. The 3 "Layers" farmland, mountains, and sky work well. Two questions: 1. did you try other skies? 2. what camera system did you use??

Quang, the color adjustments really make the red barn stand out with the green grass. Very nice use of a pano! I do agree with the others that a different sky would help. Looks like you did make some adjustments and that may be as good as it gets without a full replacement - something I'm not really into myself. Regardless, I really like this one.   Posted: 02/22/2025 03:33:52
