About the Image(s)
This rooftop photo was shot at sunrise from an adjacent rooftop. I wanted this cityscape to contrast the aged building against the “modernity” of TV antennas and the hot-air balloon. I cleaned up a little clutter on the roof and changed the sky to highlight the image.

Mark, how lucky you were to catch this balloon passing by. Heightening the colors in the sky added much. The image is fine as is, but some viewers would want the balloon a bit left of center to suggest left-right movement.   Posted: 12/13/2024 02:23:44

Hi Mark. Firstly Merry Christmas.Your sky replacement is an excellent choice. The "aged building" may work better if you grunge up the clean precise brickwork in the chimneys bit. In their current form they did not project "old" to me.   Posted: 12/14/2024 02:32:49

Mark,
I really like the colors on this one. The "RGB" feel is pretty neat.
Not pushing one item over another creates a balance not focusing on any one item but highlighting the contrast between the roof, antenna and the ballon. I agree that the roof does not "feel" as old as it likely is.   Posted: 12/14/2024 02:57:03
