About the Image(s)
I had the opportunity to observe a pair of osprey's building their nest in FLA. They were working so hard, creating their home on top of a light above a tennis court.
Canon 100-500 f4.5-7.1 @ 300mm, f5.6, 1/2000 sec, ISO 250.
Cropped and adjusted exposure in LR.

That is a great, sharp shot. There is action and interest since the bird is not just flying but carrying an item. And so great that you could find such a scene right near home. Don't change a thing.   Posted: 05/08/2025 11:33:08
Great photo! You have always encouraged me to have the animals & birds doing something in my photos. You have done this here as the bird in flight, carrying nest material, adds to the story line and holds my interest. Thank you for sharing this!   Posted: 05/08/2025 12:49:54
Steven, you nailed it! The osprey is tack sharp, and his eye really catches mine. The fact that you caught him so beautifully in flight is wonderful, but to also have the nesting material be so sharp as well. The whole image is tack sharp. Perfect! The only thing that I keep going back to is the sky. Too bad there weren't a few light clouds in the background.   Posted: 05/08/2025 18:29:54
Steven, Your osprey is just perfect - so wonderful that you caught him/her performing a behavior - the icing on a beautiful bird photo!   Posted: 05/09/2025 04:17:20
