About the Image(s)

I captured this photo in a garden, and I like it very much. I felt I saw the theater stage play in front of my camera. Post processing , I just used the crop and cure tools. ISO: 400; 300mm; f/2.8; s1/1250sec.

What a soft/dreamy image - the two people embracing are sharp - I can feel their connection. The edges have an interesting blur. I wonder who is the person in the back/right - and what is his relationship to the young couple. A proud parent? Can you explain how you achieved the blur? In camera or in post?   Posted: 04/07/2025 10:54:18

Thank you for the common. The photo was taken by a 300mm f/2.8 prime lens, which makes the background blur. I was practicing my camera in a public garden. I included a third person in the background, so that it might lead people to think what would be the story behind this cinema. Why the man looked sad, etc.   Posted: 04/12/2025 15:04:54

What's causing the blur on the right side? Plants near the lens? Regarding the third person - although he initially distracted me - I find that his presence increases my interest in the image - as I wonder who is is.   Posted: 04/12/2025 16:53:05

A very thought-provoking image! The young woman looks happy and loving, but I found myself wondering if the man was unhappy or sad or just distracted. I like the way you isolated the couple and separated them from whatever is going on - it reminds me that there can be many stories in a single field of view, and the photographer gets to decide what to point out to the viewer.   Posted: 04/08/2025 03:47:53

Welcome to the group! This is a very good and interesting image. The couple is sharp and well composed and the background blur is very good. I really like the creativity here with the blur on the right with a person in the background. At first I thought the person in the background on the right should be removed. But in further study of the photo, I like it as it adds a mystery element to the photo and an intriguing story line. Thank you for sharing!   Posted: 04/11/2025 13:50:33

Nice image, I like the framing and the blurred background but it should be tighter. The background person is distracting. Try this.   Posted: 04/12/2025 14:14:35

Yes, if I try to crop the picture, the focus is only the couple. If I keep the third person, it might give a triagle relationship storytelling. Lol.   Posted: 04/12/2025 15:10:27

Yes, I like this image. I am also aware that each viewer will view the image and have their own vision for it. I view the image and like very much the story of this attractive couple in the park. The focus is good as are the colors. This is my vision of the image. In my vision, anything else is a distraction. Therefore, I like the crop that Will has supplied. The expressions on the faces of this couple leave much room for storytelling.

Very nice work.   Posted: 04/13/2025 18:40:21
