February 2025 - Letters From The Heart

In 1969 I was in a battle in Vietnam and a friend of mine, Thomas Grover, was killed. His family owned a farm in New Jersey, when his parents retired they sold some of the land to the county and a school was built and named after their son.
I went to the school 2 times and gave a total of 8 presentations to the students and staff, about Thomas Grover.

This patriotic activity holds deep meaning for the younger generation. The film opens with original photos and archival footage from over 50 years ago, immersing the audience in the hero's journey. Through this experience, students not only gained a deeper understanding of this historical event but also enhanced their writing skills by composing heartfelt letters to the esteemed veteran.
In a touching gesture, Mr. Bur personally responded to each student, bringing the event to a meaningful conclusion. Thank you, Mr. Bur, for your service and dedication!

Thank you for presenting this wonderful presentation. It not only let us know your contribution and the sacrifice & dedication of our hero Mr Grover here, but also gave the new generation a purpose and fellings of pride for their nation.
The presentation was well edited. The opening scene with the historic cllps from Nam is really added with the appropriate music to that. I also loved your little presentation at the begining and I am happy to see you in there in flesh too. Specially the children who were the center of this presentation were presented professionaly with their clips of emotion and expression. Overall a great one. Nothing to add. Thank you again.
