About the Image(s)

Looking down, I was attracted to this bright stone among the debris of nature. The textures contained in this simple scene, held my fascination. I am interested in the team’s opinion about the crop and whether the light pebble in the background should be removed.
Specs: EOS 6D Mark II EF 24-70 mm f/2.8L lens.
Captured hand held, f/11, 1/60,ISO 400.
Monotone conversion via Nik6 Silver Efex Filter 043 (More Silver).

Despite the somewhat busy composition, the bright stone in the center naturally draws the viewer's attention and creates a strong sense of visual focus.

Personally, I wonder if slightly cropping the background or reducing its texture a bit might further emphasize the main subject.

This is an engaging composition. The textures, the subject and the arrangement too. I agree about removing the pebble in the back. However, I would do it in reality not editing. Well done.
