This is image from Yosemite shows an early morning sun lighting the mountain top. The mountain reflection in the meandering stream balances the image.

Hi Clark. This is a lovely composition and I don't think I've ever seen Half Dome from this angle before (that is Half Dome...right?). My eye desperately wants to examine every detail of the scene, but unfortunately, on my monitor the image is extremely soft. And, as Elsie has pointed out, the highlights on Half Dome are completely blown out. A disappointment for sure. Posted: 11/22/2025 04:00:04
This is a very nice picture and of the park. I was there earlier this year and photographed the same subject form the same bridge a bit more to the left. I wanted to avoid the branches sticking in. To me these are a distraction. What led you to chose the focus point on the branch rather than the waterfall in the background ?
