Image Description: This is a photo of the Tahquamenon River in the Upper Peninsula of northern Michigan. This area is in or near the state park and is downriver from the main Tahquamenon Waterfalls. This is a beautiful and very rustic area.
Post production was performed in LR. This image was converted to B&W using Silver Efex Pro 2, High Structure (smooth) Preset.
This image was taken with the following: RAW format; Canon 90D camera; Tamron 18-200mm, f/3.5-6.3 zoom lens; aperture f/11; shutter speed 1/200; ISO 320; focal length 63mm; hand held.

A very tranquil scene, it brings back memories my vacations in the North Woods growing up. In a reverse of my eyes traveling from the dark image area to bright areas, my eye is drawn up from the bright rushing water at the bottom to the greys of the trees and then to the dark circle of land in the center surrounded by flowing water.
