About the Image(s)
We were heading out very early in the morning from Klamath Falls to photograph eagles, and I took this photo of a farmhouse in the distance with an iPhone just as the fog began to lift. It was 12 below and in the soft light, trees were coated in a surreal bright winter frost

Clark, welcome.
This is a nice picture and the sense of isolation and farm life is strongly transferred. The white tones are great. A couple of thoughts:
1. More sky may increase the sense of isolation.
2. Around the house and trees behind, the details are overly sharp. Either clarity slider or somewhat of the editing is not natural.
I love the white trees on the right as well.   Posted: 03/09/2025 08:49:55

This is a gorgeous panorama, Clark!
Consider toning down the highlights on the 3rd tree from the right.   Posted: 03/16/2025 22:52:41

Hi Clark!
…apparently there were many good photographic opportunities in that area recently - some folks from my camera club brought back some beautiful images (and froze themselves in the process) and yours is no exception. It is a beautiful, peaceful scene and I like your high-key presentation. A panoramic crop was a good choice.
You didn't mention how you did the conversion. If using LrC, you might, for an alternate presentation, try to bring out a little more detail in the foreground snow and, as Elsie suggested, tone down the highlights ever so slightly on the trees. It would also be interesting to see what it would look like if you took down the blue slider to darken the sky somewhat to add just a wee bit more separation/contrast between the sky and snow-covered trees. Nicely presented.   Posted: 03/17/2025 19:18:54
