About the Image(s)
Photo Series Exhibition:
Images were registered during a visit to the Salton Sea in California. These images along with the images in Digital Dialogue (DD-3) are meant to be viewed as a series. I hope you enjoy the story these images tell.
The history of the accidental creation of the Salton Sea and its eventual decline is fascinating, and I invite viewers to read a short history by clicking on the link below.

Love this!! Perfect example of when/how/why to present a series of photographs that help direct viewers towards a specific narrative, as we see in this example. As I have mentioned in the past, work like this (a series) is best when viewed in Exhibition at galleries and museums, for two perfect spaces to study and contemplate the work.
Well visualized, recorded and finished!!!   Posted: 01/01/2025 14:38:03
Thank you for presenting the story with these great captures. After reading the article you forwarded, I went ahead and watched a couple of documentary videos about the rise and fall of the Salton Sea. It is indeed a fascinating story. Your images in this series are well composed and well processed. I particularly like these black and white ones because I feel they invoke a stronger sense of the past in this historic place. Very powerful.
