Winter 2017 Ieud village MM County Romania. Epic place. location taken from a different Era.
Wooden churches and small houses. That morning I could barely see the other side of the street. so I waited for lunch time when the sun came out and climbed the hills around the village.
I used a medium 120mm zoom @f11 on a Nikon D800E aperture priority Sec 1/200. I cropped the image a bit and increased the de-haze to +18 and clarity to +33.
(Note the image was recorded via B&W setting).

You know I never tried registering a scene via the BW setting on my DSLR ... something I may try someday ... in the meantime, I continue to use BW film.
First, I really like the overall composition ... you very clearly established a sense of depth and the vastness of this particular location, as well as identifying structures of the region.
Though I think you processed the work nicely, I am even more interested in the original frame as a place to start ... that is using the muted tone from the camera. But that is just a personal preference.

Hi Adi. I find your image interesting and engaging and very well visualized and composed. My eye falls first on the house and trees in the foreground before going deeper into the frame to appreciate the semi-abstract background. I like it a lot.

Beautiful place, unreal serenity! I love the composition. At first glance, I was a little surprised that this is from you, Adi, as compared to your other posts, where the images were much more contrasty. This is the beauty of winter.
