I've been experimenting with making images that are "suggestions" of reality, rather than a strict depictions of reality. I've been playing around with ICM as well as other techniques.
This image was made by placing a semi-transparent piece of plastic over the lens hood. Minimal processing in Lightroom to create the desired effect.

Suggestions of reality? The reality I see is that of a horror movie in which the guy with the chainsaw is hidden just on the other side of the curve... ;-) Well done! I'll have to try that technique Posted: 12/19/2024 15:53:46

Love it, like the others said it is surreal. Until you look closer, the chimney looks like a ghostly figure with the roofline making arms drawing you in. Posted: 12/21/2024 21:18:40
