About the Image(s)

Walking through a wooded trail and field, I saw this poor dragonfly caught in a spider web with only two points of contact. I am sure there were more when it was initially caught—two different images.

I find this to be a bit stark, which is perfect for the situation the dragonfly found itself in. Very nice capture and the two points of contact tell the story perfectly.   Posted: 07/06/2024 14:14:08

Your photo is fascinating with all the tiny details and how it is attached to the points of contact.   Posted: 07/06/2024 16:20:31

This is so finely detailed, it's fascinating -even the hairs on the legs. I wonder what it would look like if you lightened the body a little.....   Posted: 07/08/2024 01:00:15

Laurie -- Reprocess in Topaz GP after trying to grab some light from the Original. I think the light looks forced. NEW -- I like this one better. Thanks for the suggestion.   Posted: 07/08/2024 17:01:56

well focused. Something at the upper left wing that could be removed. Unusal shot and well done.   Posted: 07/08/2024 15:30:18
