About the Image(s)
Walking after dinner, I spotted this tiny raccoon being rescued by its parent. I was not ready for it, and the lighting was awful. Still, I was thrilled to witness this. My settings were 1/640 sec, F8, and ISO 400.
I would appreciate any suggestions to improve this photo. Kathleen Colligan

Very nice click even though you say lighting was not good. Even you got a nice low angle, after dinner that too, hope you did not have to crouch after the meal. :-)
maybe to improve the photo, try reducing some highlights on the bright part of the grass. Rest everything seems nice. even the eyes of both the racoons can be seen clearly. Well done Kathleen.   Posted: 07/02/2024 02:54:50

Nice capture -- what was the focal length of the lens? Or were you in a blind? You must have been excited to be this close to the scene.   Posted: 07/06/2024 00:40:05

Oh boy, someone's in BIG trouble! I like this image a lot, it tells a great story. It is nicely composed.
I agree with Prasad, I'd try and reduce the highlights as they tend to distract from the subject a little.   Posted: 07/06/2024 14:16:44
