Hi, Arabella. This looks like a peaceful spot, but the image is so busy, I am unable to focus on a clear subject. Also, the edges are really soft and it seems not uniformly, like perhaps the phone wasn't being held steady? I have a little tripod for my cellphone, which comes in handy when I need steadiness. Do you think this would be helpful? There are pink color casts on the trees, which detract from the overall scene. There are some beautiful red tulips (?) on the left bottom corner. The colors are gorgeous, and it must have been a beautiful sight to see in person, but it is a bit busy. Maybe zooming in with your phone to focus on a smaller area would work better? Good for you using your phone, though. I need to learn more about using mine. Posted: 04/02/2026 00:35:43
That must have been a beautiful flower show, and just what we all need this time of year! I am wondering if you would consider cropping up from the bottom to just above the red tulips, in order to bring the focus more on the little pond and trees? Posted: 04/02/2026 01:27:38
Arabella, very nice cell phone capture. I think the pink color casts are from colored lights lighting the exhibit.

I agree here. The image is a little busy and lacks a central subject. It is certainly a lovely spot and isn't it fantastic that we carry such a powerful camera around in our pockets. I might have tried cropping this on bottom and right to focus attention on the pond and maybe even turn it into a black and white.
