How I Did it : Stok Monastery is on a hilltop on the banks of the Indus river. I found a place from where the river bends.Taken in the Raw and processed in Adobe Lightroom.

Very beautiful scene and nicely captured. Your POV from where the river bends really creates a wonderful leading line into the Monastery. I would be tempted to crop the lower right a bit to emphasize the shape of the river bend and draw the eye more into the Monastery. While the foliage is colorful there, it also is a bit distracting from the subject. Posted: 11/04/2025 04:42:18

This looks like an amazing area. The tones are beautiful, and you couldn't have asked for a more perfect sky. Like Teresa, I think that a crop might be a good idea in order to focus more attention on the Monastery, while keeping the lovely bend in the river. Posted: 11/04/2025 20:53:54
